You will work on our client site guided by our Operations team. TheNorthside Security Services team are always on hand should you need anything.
Work life balance is important to us. This role is shift work with four 12 hour shifts one week and three 12 hour shifts the next week (not exceeding a 39 hour week), operating both day and night shifts.
Prior to starting onsite, you will be familiarised with NSS and our culture and values, receive mandatory training and start to learn about the operation. In your first six months, you can then focus on becoming confident in your role. There is training support too. Regular one to ones will ensure we support you and your career at NSS
About the role
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all visitors and contractors are greeted, monitoring access controls, securing premises and ensuring health and safety on site. Patrols will be on foot and in vehicle.
Candidates must have the following skills:
PSA Static licence is essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Must have excellent customer services skills and telephone manner.
High standards of personal presentation
Ability to work unsupervised.

Have Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Confident of dealing with the public
This is a full time position as follows:
Hours: Monday-Sunday including bank holidays and overnight duties as required
You will be required to be flexible with shifts and rostering arrangements.
Driving licence is desired.
